"I met Mauricio whilst he was managing Storyboard coffee. As a frequent customer at my local coffee shop, I was always greeted by Mauricio with an incredibly genuine and warm smile and a friendly hello. He took time to know and remember my name, which, given how many other customers he must have seen daily, is impressive! I still see Mauricio occasionally as we live in the same area, and he always says hi. Human connection is such an important thing, and I always felt that from Mauricio. I was gutted when Storyboard shut down - not only for the loss of the shop to the community, but also for the loss of Mauricio and the lovely team in my day-to-day life.
